Created with clay harvested from an industry free area where the glacier comes down into the sea at a national park in British Colombia, Canada resulting in a clay free of any pollutants and containing over 60 minerals unique to the area. Glacial clay has been clinically proven to reduce the appearance of pore sizes. Impurities in the skin are positively charged whilst the particles in the clay are negatively charged meaning the impurities are drawn towards the clay particles and away from the skin. The glacial clay also uses its osmatic strength to pull moisture up from the deep tissue to hydrate the face. It forms a barrier around oily particles in the skin and has been clinically proven to reduce sebum by up to 95% after application. In addition to all this the active ingredient from the Pelvetia canaliculata seaweed extract which is blended into the clay has been shown to have a plumping effect on the skin, brings firmness and acts against wrinkles, also included is beautiful rosehip oil, renown for improving skin health and for its skin-rejuvenating and regenerating properties.
